PSYCH WARD is a collection of solo bass improvisations ('basstrumentals') experimenting with sound effects. With each song I tried to explore the range and character of the effects while painting with the instrument. I got some pretty gnarly sounds using filters, distortion/fuzz, delays, flanger/phaser/reverbs, modulators, subs/synths... All fully improvised one takes.
